How much subsidy can you receive?

How much subsidy can you receive?

For 2026, the ISDE subsidy for glazing is based on the type and insulation performance of the glass.

  • HR++ glass: €25 per m²
  • Triple glazing: €111 per m², when installed together with new window frames
  •  The maximum eligible area for glazing is generally 45 m².
  •  The minimum area requirement for glazing is generally 3 m².

For example, if you install 20 m² of qualifying triple glazing, the potential subsidy could be:

20 m² × €111 = €2,220

The actual subsidy depends on whether your product and installation meet all ISDE requirements.

What is the difference between HR++ and triple glazing?

HR++ glazing is high-efficiency double glazing with an eligible U-value of 1.2 W/m²K or lower.

Triple glazing consists of three panes of glass and has a U-value of 0.7 W/m²K or lower to qualify for the relevant ISDE category.

Triple glazing generally provides better thermal insulation and can help improve indoor comfort and reduce heat loss.

Can you get a subsidy when replacing the window frames too?

Yes.

An important change introduced in 2026 is that RVO no longer requires a specific Uf insulation value for the window frame when new frames are installed together with insulating glass. The requirements for the glass itself still apply.

This means homeowners replacing both their glazing and window frames should pay particular attention to the Ug value of the glass and whether the specific product is eligible under the ISDE scheme.

How do you know if your glass qualifies?

RVO maintains an official Meldcodelijst containing approved products and their corresponding subsidy codes.

The list includes qualifying products for:

  •  HR++ glass
  •  Triple glazing
  •  Insulating panels
  •  Insulating doors
  •  Special glazing for monument buildings.

This is important because not every product marketed as “energy efficient” automatically qualifies for an ISDE subsidy.

Who can apply?

The ISDE scheme for homeowners is intended for people who:

  •  own the property;
  •  live in the property themselves;
  •  carry out an eligible energy-saving measure.

The subsidy is claimed after the qualifying measure has been installed.

Can you combine insulation measures?

Yes. The ISDE scheme can cover multiple energy-saving measures, subject to the applicable conditions.

For example, homeowners may combine glazing with other eligible insulation measures. In certain circumstances, combining measures can also affect the subsidy amount, so it is worth checking the current RVO rules before starting the project.
